“The Crown at Shipton feels like a step back in time, a beautifully restored building where history is palpable, from its medieval hall to rooms with stories like the former monks' chapel. My stay was enhanced by the genuine warmth of the owners, Anne Marie and Andrew, whose passion for this centuries-old inn is evident in every detail. The food, from a truly exceptional breakfast to well-prepared dinners, showcases local produce, and the charming garden offers a peaceful retreat within a picturesque Cotswold village.”
